Bass Guitar Magazine (Non Disc Version) is ceasing publication with the July 2007 issue. BassGuitar was eclectic, hard-hitting and heavy, bringing a burst of high-energy/low-end energy six times a year to beginner and advanced metal, alternative, pop, jazz-funk and jam-band bassists. In its inaugural year, BassGuitar magazine featured superstar bassists like Metallica's Robert Trujillo, KISS's Gene Simmons, Phish's Mike Gordon, and Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx. But Bass Guitar was more than just a magazine with a legendary face. With probing interviews, note-for-note song transcriptions, exclusive lessons and columns by high profile artists, and gear reviews, it had established itself as the preeminent bass publication in the world.
