Published continuously since 1942, Baseball Digest Magazine is baseball's oldest magazine and has always been edited for true Baseball Fans! Baseball Digest has always included articles from leading columns in the sports pages of newspapers and magazines throughout the country to keep fans up to date on the sport known as America's favorite past time, but now it's better than ever. In 2012 the publisher announced a merger with Pro Scouting which now provides in-depth, insider scouting reports for every issue. With a staff of veteran MLB scouts, ProSouting shares their proprietary databse of player evaluations which analyzes talent from high schools, college programs and all levels of the professional game. With the September 2012 issue, the magazine also grew from 48 pages to a full color glossy of between 80 and 100 pages per issue. The newly enhanced Baseball Digest now allows fans to see a side of the game that had been previously hidden to all but the closest insiders.
